How it works, and what happens with your email
Posting: submit a listing, confirm it from your inbox, and a moderator reviews it before it goes live for 60 days (renewable). Responding: confirm your interest from your inbox, and you receive the listing owner's email address so you can introduce yourself directly - who you are, your background, a CV if you have one. The owner receives your address too, so first contact is yours to make and either side can reach the other. Email addresses are never shown on this site and never appear in the public listings data; they are shared only between the two people in a confirmed response and, if you list yourself, used for project alerts you can mute at any time. Listings can be removed by their owner at any time, and misleading listings can be reported with the Report link on each card. Projects must state the authorship on offer: agree expectations early, consistent with the ICMJE authorship criteria.
Project alerts: listing yourself doubles as a subscription. When a new project matches your specialties - narrowed to your subspecialty interests, if you set them - you get an email, one live listing per email address. Every alert has a one-click mute link and a link to manage or remove your listing, and alerts stop automatically when your listing expires.
